The Health Visitor Arrives

Here I am again, now three weeks old! The health visitor came over yesterday to give me my MOT. She weighed me, measured how long I was and just gave my the once over. She told me that I am doing well and have been putting on lots of weight, I am now weighing in at 9lb 15oz! I am also 54cm long, which is 1cm above average! I will be in my big clothes before too long!

On My Playmat!

Here I am playing on my new toy! I really like to stare at the pictures, even though some of them are quite scary! I wish my Daddy would put new batteries in it so I can listen to the music as well!

Well Done Uncle Chris!

Aunty Carly and Uncle Chris came up to visit again today. This time Uncle Chris was brave enough to have a hold of me. I was really good and didn't wriggle for him at all! Next time he said he might even stand up and hold me!

What Are You Doing Daddy!?!

This is a picture of me and Bev. She came to see me on Saturday and seemed really nice. It was only afterwards that I found out that she was something caled a 'Jack!' Dai had warned me about these the day before, I can't believe my daddy let her hold me!

More Visitors

Here are mummy and daddy's friends Dai and Clare. They came to see me on Friday and brought me more presents; I can't wait to grow a little bit to start to wear them all! Clare is going to have a liitle baby in April, I wonder if I will have a baby boy or girl to play with?

My Friend Finley

This is my friend Finley and his mum Sharon. They live around the corner on my street so when we are a bit older we can go out and play together. Finley is a bit confused at the moment because he doesn't know whether to support West Brom or Aston Villa. I don't have any choice over who I am going to support!

I Told You I Wasn't Sleepy

Sometimes my mummy and daddy try to put me in this thing called a moses basket. They tell me that I have to do this thing called 'sleeping', whatever that means!?! I prefer to have a little wiggle and then make some noise so that they come and pick me up, that seems like far more fun to me :)

Official At Last

Today, 12 days after I was born, my mummy and daddy finally took me to register my birth. They had to be really careful with the registrar to make sure that she spelt all my names correctly and didn't make any mistakes. This was really important because even though I am Welsh I had to be registered in Worcester and the nice lady didn't know how to spell all the words! She did say that I was really cute and behaved myself all the way through it though, I bet she says that to all the babies!

Fingers!

My mummy reckons that I have got long fingers! She says that when I am older I might be able to play the piano, at the moment I am happy with just sticking them in my mouth :)

Meeting Alfie

This is my mummy's friend Mel. She had a little baby boy a week before I was born even though I was meant to be first! I am looking forward to playing with Alfie when I am a little older!

My First Trip Out

This is my first trip out with Daddy. It wasn't that exciting really, it took ages to get me ready and make sure I was nice and warm and then we went to the post office, lloyds pharmacy and tescos! I hope I go further next time :)

My Moses Basket

This is my moses basket where I am meant to go to sleep! I prefer to be out playing and find it very boring stuck in there on my own! My daddy must have been quick taking this photo because I don't stay still for very long!

Arriving Home

This is me arriving home for the first time! I can't remember much about the journey because I slept all the way, the seat must be comfy!

My Cousin Evan

This is my cousin Evan! He is so big and clever, he can eat proper food, walk and even say a few words! One day I will be as big as him!

Auntie Carly

Auntie Carly and Uncle Chris came up to visit me on the Tuesday after I was born, they had to travel up to Worcester after school as well. They are getting married soon, I wonder if I will be asked to be a bridesmaid? I would love to wear a pretty dress :)

Gramps

This is my Gramps! He bought my my first Welsh sleepsuit and scarf, it didn't bring much luck because Wales lost the first game that I ever watched, I hope that this is not a sign of things to come! Let me think, what word sounds like grampy......

Grandma Stephens

My Grandma came up to visit me on the day I was born. However, because it took so long for me to arrive they had to wait in Worcester all day on the Monday before they could come up and see me for the first time!

Uncle Will

Here is my Uncle William Godfrey Basley Parsons! He has got a long name just like mine :) I hope I have spelt it right!!

Auntie Clare

Here I am looking at my Auntie Clare, they all came up to visit me on the weekend after my birth. They had to travel all the way from Petersfield, Hampshire. I am looking forward to going down there to visit them in the future!

Auntie Sian

This is my Auntie Sian, she is also a teacher so there will be no excuses for not doing my homework in the future!

Grampa Rees

Grampa drove all the way to Worcester from Bridgend and back after work just to see me! I bet his lessons suffered the next day :)

Gramma Rees

Here I am with Gramma in the hospital, they came up to see me on my first full day and brought lots of presents! They can come again!

Here I am with my mummy not long after my birth, despite being a healthy weight to begin with I thought there would be no harm in having another bite to eat to keep my strength up!

The New Arrival!

Here I am just after I was born! I didn't really want to come out at first and hung around for 13 days longer than I should have. When I eventually made it out into the real world it wasn't as bad as I thought and after sucking my thumb for a while decided to have some food and go to sleep for most of the night!
